Where did you grow up? Arlington, MA
What was your most interesting job before going into lending? Brigham’s ice cream shop in Arlington. I was constantly harassed and asked for free ice cream from my classmates and teammates.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I like to go fishing or hit the gym.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Michelle Obama
Where is Boston’s best-kept secret? I can’t tell, then everyone would know.
What do you love most about the industry? I get to speak with so many new people everyday and hear their stories. Many of my clients are medical professionals and I love hearing about their journey and asking them why they wanted to be a physician or dentist.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Not having enough time in the day. But I do love what I do and plan to continue working until I’m at least 70.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately? Right now I’m binge watching “City on a Hill” and reading “Fear is Fuel” by Patrick Sweeney (The Fear Guru)
What’s your favorite meal in Boston? Squid Ink Pasta from the Daily Catch
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Boston? Trinity Church
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job? It was about 20 years ago. I met a couple at their home to take an application and their bunny started chewing my suit pants and put a few holes in them.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? I have a few tattoos … don’t tell anyone though.
What’s your favorite vacation spot and why? Southport, Maine, it’s so relaxing and picturesque
