Real estate wasn’t something Rachel Gallant stumbled into — she built her own path. Her passion for real estate started in college, though not in the classroom, but rather in the real world.
“Dorm life wasn’t for me, so I started renting apartments as a freshman in college,” Gallant recalls. “Every year, a rent increase came, which caused me to question, ‘How long can I keep doing this?’” Determined to take control of her future, the 19-year-old immersed herself in everything one could do to prepare for a real estate investment. By 21, she had purchased her first home.
“I knew I wasn’t done,” she goes on. While working as vice president of a general construction company, she dove into the construction industry to absorb all the knowledge she could. She jumped into large- and small-scale renovation projects to master building codes and project management. She grew a deep appreciation for relationship-building with industry experts eager to grow. As her expertise grew, people sought her advice. She loved having the answers or knowing where to find them. Helping others achieve their goals ultimately led her to get her real estate license in 2012. That same year she also reached her goal of building her first home.
Now, with 13 years as a licensed Realtor and seven years of hands-on experience before that, Gallant specializes in buying and selling. She appreciates working with a broad range of clientele, from first-time buyers to investors focused on building portfolios. She has extensive experience and possesses a resource database that took decades to build.
Beyond work, Gallant is big into family and is a devoted dog lover, with three rescues. When not working, she enjoys spending time on the water aboard Nauti Nala, named after her German shepherd, Nala.
