Bryan Brown, Branch Manager, NMLS # 89425

Rate

After graduating from Bentley University, Bryan Brown played semi-pro football in Germany for a year. When he returned home, some of his friends had started working at a mortgage company. Their success appealed to him, so he joined them at the company; 23 years later, he’s still excited about his career.

Now a branch manager at Rate, Brown leads by example to help his team maximize its potential. Known for being responsive and professional, he begins every client relationship with a phone call to get acquainted and set accurate expectations. “I go out of my way to make sure each loan is the right fit for my clients’ short-term and long-term financial goals,” Brown says.

In 2023, when other loan officers stopped hosting events, Brown doubled down on his networking efforts. It paid off in 2024 with an increase in business of over 55% and recognition among Rate’s top 50 loan officers nationwide. Proud of his referral-driven business, he shares, “It makes me even more conscious of the fact that doing the right thing for each client means I’m doing my absolute best for my agent and advisor referral partners as well as my previous clients.”

In Rate’s President’s Club since 2012 and a recipient of the company’s Chairman’s Circle award, Brown also serves on the Massachusetts Mortgage Brokers Association board and the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce economic development committee. The devoted dad is president of Hopkinton Youth Football and coaches youth hockey.
