Buying or selling a home can be overwhelming, and Bea Murphy is committed to making that process seamless for her clients. After more than a decade in corporate America, she made the leap into real estate to align her career with her values of balance, professionalism and client care.
“I was done with working hard for bosses that didn’t always appreciate me and wanted to find a career that I had greater control over,” Murphy recalls. “I took the chance, and the only regret was not starting sooner.”
A Realtor with Lamacchia Realty since 2017, Murphy specializes in helping first-time buyers, luxury clients and downsizers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Drawing on her personal experience with buying and selling homes, she guides her clients through what she knows is one of life’s biggest financial decisions. “I always try to be different and provide value,” she says.
Murphy’s active involvement in her community — whether through sports, senior centers or networking groups — has helped her build relationships. Growing up in Weymouth and attending Derby Academy, Thayer Academy and Bentley University, she developed deep ties to the area. She now works from the company’s Braintree office and lives in Hanover.
Among her proudest accomplishments is maintaining a Presidents Club-level status with Lamacchia and finishing her years strong, landing among the top in her office and her company.
Outside of real estate, Murphy serves as vice president of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and advocates for Type 1 diabetes research, inspired by her son’s diagnosis. She also supports fundraising for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and enjoys skiing, traveling and spending time on the water with her family.
