Brian Quijada Associate Broker, EVO Real Estate Group

What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? Bartending for sure. I have so many friends from the hospitality industry I work with today. I also learned so much about life behind the bar and speaking with people everyday.

Where did you grow up? Lowell, MA!

Growing up, what did you want to be? A police officer, life had other plans!

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Walk with my rescue dog Axel

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Mark Cuban. Love his story and would love to hear about his early childhood.

What is Boston’s best-kept secret? There are amazing restaurants in every corner, you just have to look! Best food from all over the world in the country

What do you love most about the industry? I love being able to help people achieve their goals and be a part of that process. It is some people’s biggest financial decisions.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I pride myself on being extremely transparent even if the news is bad, clients today need to work with someone who is knowledgeable and honest.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? The job is 24/7. I love it but it truly never ends.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads? Meet as many people as possible and be hyper focused on what you want out of this business and what you specialize in. As you become more knowledgeable and meet more people the business will follow if you are trustworthy.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Being in charge of the leasing team at EVO. I am in charge of some agents so it has been my first time managing younger agents.
