Shant Banosian is executive vice president of sales for Rate, developing into an industry leader over two decades in the lending business.

In January, he hosted more than 1,000 real estate agents at the second-annual Accelerate Summit. It’s just one example of several initiatives spearheaded by Banosian, a mentor, innovator and collaborator who continues to elevate standards in the mortgage industry.

Banosian is licensed in all 50 states and has closed on more than 40,000 units and $9 billion in funded loans, ranking as Rate’s top loan officer nationwide. He’s also been featured on Mortgage Professional America’s Mortgage Global 100 list multiple times.

This is Banosian’s second year in a row winning the Boston Agents’ Choice Award for Loan Officer of the Year.
