In 2009, Anthony Lamacchia launched the independent brokerage Lamacchia Realty Inc. and has been on an upward trajectory ever since. After achieving the status of the leading Realtor in Massachusetts for several years, he broadened his reach by assembling a team and transitioning to a traditional brokerage model.

As Lamacchia Realty grew along with the other companies within Lamacchia Companies Inc., the leadership expanded as well. The promotion of longtime Lamacchia veteran Jackie Louh to chief operating officer in 2022 allowed Lamacchia more time to do what he does best: training agents and remaining a visionary for the companies. Lamacchia is obsessed with ensuring that all Realtors within his brokerage have the tools they need to succeed — and he has no plans to slow down, the company said.

At the end of 2022, Lamacchia Realty expanded into the Connecticut market with the opening of the Southington branch office. In February, the brokerage opened its first brick-and-mortar office location in Salem, New Hampshire. The well-known brokerage Foley Premier Properties also recently joined forces with Lamacchia Realty, allowing the company to expand into Cape Cod. Lamacchia Realty announced a new office opening in Fall River, joining with brokerage Right Choice Real Estate.

Lamacchia has also made it a goal to give back to the community. Lamacchia Cares is a company initiative which supports and raises funds for local causes, including the Boston Children’s Hospital Corporate Cup; they’ve raised more than $300,000 since 2017.
