The Procopio Companies has hired Shad Brook as the company’s new director of operational excellence. Brook brings more than 15 years of experience in quality assurance and operations, to this newly established role as the company continues to expand its project portfolio. 

In his new role, Brook will work to standardize processes and procedures for the company’s construction operations while also “ensuring value creation and efficiency are top of mind for continuous improvement,” according to a company release.  

Brook previously held roles as a senior manager of operations quality for Raytheon Technologies, as well as the director of quality for Suffolk Construction. He’s a licensed journeyman electrician with an industrial engineering degree from Iowa State University. Brook also holds an MBA from Mount Mercy University.

Procopio has several active projects in Lynn, Beverly, Wilmington, Winthrop and Gloucester, as well as in Portland, Maine, and Windham, New Hampshire. The company is also planning to expand nationally.
