Mayer Realty Group has relocated to 785 Washington St. in Canton. The Compass affiliate is taking over the spot Kramer Jewelers called home for more than 35 years, right in the heart of Canton center.

According to a company release, Mayer Realty Group Principle Agent Melissa Mayer and her team are establishing the Compass brand in the downtown area to serve both existing and new clients in Canton and surrounding towns, sharing the company’s innovative technology to make for a seamless selling and buying experience. 

“Buying and selling a home used to be a long, arduous and stressful process until Compass revolutionized the industry by modernizing the overall experience and placing their technology into the hands of everyone involved, from the agent to the seller to the buyer,” Mayer said in the release. “Similar to how the popularity of Zoom, during the pandemic, forever changed how business meetings are conducted, Compass, and its high-touch and high-tech platform has raised the bar and transformed the real estate transaction process in the same fashion. Our clients are tech-savvy, so it’s essential that our team matches their technology-focused needs.”

The Kramer Jewelers location is no stranger to Mayer, whose parents owned it since 1985.

“My parents’ entrepreneurial spirit was always on full display at their independently owned jewelry store, and they were firm believers in supporting small business while also supporting members of our community that were raising money for organizations that positively impacted the town of Canton,” Mayer added. “It truly was the epicenter of the Canton community, and not just because of its location in the center of town.
