Real estate is more than just a job for Brenda Demers; it’s a significant part of who she is. A longtime Upton/Mendon resident who grew up in Shrewsbury and Northborough, the successful mother of two owned and operated a photography business for 18 years during her daughters’ youth. “This has been instrumental in my real estate career,” she shares. “It allows me to see my clients’ homes in a different light.” Using that expert eye, she strategically stages homes and advises clients in Middlesex, Worcester and Norfolk counties.
With Demers having begun homebuying at the age of 19, she and her husband have owned five homes and built three from the ground up. With specialties in global relocations and other facets of residential real estate, she can relate with clients and handle market adversities. Personalized service, solid negotiation skills and being present every step of the way have led to a largely referral-based business. Her clients know her to be a good listener, detailed professional and trusted friend. “I’m inspired to help everyone own a home … using my story to encourage others,” says Demers.
Taking time to explain the entire process in detail, she also has been known to set up day trips to spend time exploring ideal homes and neighborhoods with out-of-state clientele. Dependable and driven, she brings humor to everything she does, delighting clients by inserting lightheartedness into what otherwise can be stressful situations. With patience and compassion, she helps clients achieve their goals with well-managed expectations and by seamlessly navigating the complexities of real estate.
An active member of the National Association of Realtors and Greater Boston Association of Realtors, Demers can usually be found pitching on the Upton Women’s Softball League, playing on the women’s bowling league or spending as much time as possible with her two irresistible grandsons.
