Growing up in Dorchester, Vanessa Haley was inspired by her grandparents to embark on a real estate career. The granddaughter of a property owner and a real estate agent, she seemed meant for a career in the industry early on. Two years later, she thoroughly enjoys helping people through the transaction process, seeking to continue to break barriers in the industry like so many women before her.
With Boston neighborhoods including Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury and Hyde Park serving as her primary markets, Haley works with single-family, multifamily and condominium clients, as well as those looking to buy or sell land. Having lived, attended school and worked in Boston her entire life, she knows the city well. With positive energy and a sense of humor, she’s a clear communicator who ensures her clients are well-informed at every step in the transaction process. “My client’s success is my success,” says Haley, “and I strive toward making sure we cross that finish line.”
Haley credits her strong organizational and people skills for much of her success. “Building relationships is huge, as I get to know all my clients and create everlasting encounters,” she notes. She receives most of her clients through referrals, which are easily achieved because she strives to leave those she serves with an impactful experience that they will share and that will lead them back to her in the future. She also recognizes mastery of social media and staying ahead of market trends as tools that have helped her better serve her clientele.
Family has been an important aspect of Haley’s life since childhood and continues to be so today. She loves spending time with her family and watching her son play basketball. She also enjoys travel and dining at new restaurants in the market area she serves.
