Nidia Peguero, Realtor & Team Lead

Century 21 North East

A love of real estate started at a young age for Nidia Peguero, when her parents owned multiple properties and her father worked in construction. “He would let me tag along to various renovation projects he was doing on the weekends,” she shares. “I recall one home he was renovating when I was a young girl. It was located on the water in Marblehead, and that did it for me.” She imagined building her own house, and in 2016 she and her husband fulfilled that dream in North Andover, a suburb in the Merrimack Valley where they are raising their two children.

A Realtor and team lead at Century 21 North East, Peguero started her career as a paralegal with a small law firm in Chelsea where the partners were also real estate developers. “Working at the law firm gave me the legal knowledge necessary to advise first-time buyers and also investors,” Peguero explains. A Realtor for 17 years, she’s also a landlord and manages several properties. “I feel that I am an asset to clients looking to dip their feet in the landlord business,” she adds.

Born and raised in Chelsea, Peguero continues to have her office there. “I started my career in Chelsea, where the population is predominantly Latino,” she shares. “Being bilingual and developing relationships is extremely important to me, as I want my clients to feel appreciated and understood.”

Peguero had her best year in 2021, hitting $19.7 million in sales. She serves on the board of directors for Community Action Programs Inter-City (CAPIC) in Chelsea and has earned top producer awards since 2017, including NAHREP’s Top 100 Latino Real Estate Agents in the Northeast in 2018 and 2020 and, more recently, the Century 21 North East Centurion award for 2021.
