Broker, Keller Williams
Owner, Greater Boston Property Management
As a broker with Keller Williams and owner of Greater Boston Property Management, J.T. Kelly creates lifelong relationships with his clients starting with their initial meeting. “Many first-time homebuyers end up asking about investment properties soon after closing on their first home,” he says. “Many clients start conversations with the goal of selling their property, and after we discuss management and renting it to tenants, they opt to hold it and keep the passive income. With investors, once they buy the property, I typically manage it for them, handling any and all problems and tenant qualification issues.”
Entering the real estate industry as a student at Northeastern University, Kelly found his place at Keller Williams immediately after graduation. Almost a decade later, he ranks among the top 10 percent in his office, earning him a spot on the 2019 Associate Leadership Committee. Previously, he’s reported the highest monthly closed individual volume and was named No. 4 in New England for monthly gross commission income. This year, he’s on pace do $10 million in sales. “I never settle and am always aspiring to go higher and to the next level,” says Kelly. “I’m lucky enough to have primarily referral-based business at this point. While I’m always open to new opportunities, the relationship I try to create with people continues long after the closing of their first property.”
This year, Kelly brought on an administrative and sales assistant, allowing him to focus his attention on larger, more complicated transactions. He is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Military Relocation Professional as well as a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and Northeastern University Alumni.
Kelly volunteers with the Northeastern University Real Estate Club and Operation American Soldier.
