The Muncey Group at RE/MAX Destiny
Josh Muncey does whatever it takes for his clients. “I’m not just in this to close deals,” says Muncey, the founder of The Muncey Group at RE/MAX Destiny. “I love helping people find homes they love.” Along with his recently-formed team, Muncey serve a range of buyers and sellers including young professionals and young families to empty nesters, and focuses on the Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, West Roxbury and Brookline markets.
This spring, after over a decade in real estate, Muncey launched his own team, The Muncey Group, channeling his vision for the future and strategic mindset to forge a new path. “What makes us different is that we operate as a streamlined, cohesive team and not a bunch of competing individuals,” he says, adding that they meet frequently to collaborate and strategize, allowing their collective experience and expertise to serve every client.
Muncey has earned membership into the RE/MAX Platinum club for the past three years and is currently wrapping up sales of a 24-unit new development in Jamaica Plain. For Muncey, launching his own team didn’t just mean assembling a group of agents. “Our team approach is designed to take the chaos out of the real estate experience. We’re able to tailor a curated real estate experience to meet each client’s exact needs because we really take the time to listen and to get to know the people we work with.”
Muncey is a member of the National Association of Realtors and has previously served on the board of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors. He volunteers with the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation, and along with his team, actively fundraises for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. He lives in Jamaica Plain with his wife and daughters.
