Gloria Herdt may be an award-winning real estate agent, but she’s a teacher at heart.
“I love empowering my buyers with as much knowledge as possible about the market and the overall home buying process,” says Herdt, the Associate Broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) Warren Residential. For nearly a decade, Herdt has forged her way through the industry, earning her New York real estate license at age 18 before becoming an ESL teacher. She decided to pursue her real estate dreams again in 2009 and is appreciative of the opportunities she’s received since her return.
Serving clients in downtown and greater Boston neighborhoods, Herdt loves working with first-time buyers as well as buyers looking for a unique property, such as a loft, waterfront residence or one in a specific style that fits their tastes. “I enjoy searching for the ‘true gem’ that my clients will treasure for years to come,” she says, adding that she’s dedicated to helping people settle down for a new chapter of their life.
During the past year, Herdt surpassed her previous records for volume closed and business attained, all while maintaining a high standard of customer service and commitment to her moral and ethical business model. “I’ve hand-crafted a business that’s focused on client relationships and creating a positive real estate experience. My clients know that they can always trust and depend on me because I genuinely care. No matter how competitive the real estate industry may be, I’ll continue to hold myself to the highest degree of professionalism, which makes my clients proud to call me their Realtor,” she says.
Most of Herdt’s clients come from referrals, and both buyers and agents alike praise her passion and talents. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and was inducted into BHHS Warren’s Leading Edge Society in 2016 and Honor Society in 2015.
Herdt is a licensed real estate instructor and teaches an online salesperson licensing course through the Freedom Trail Realty School. She is also a licensed Yoga Tune Up instructor and enjoys knitting, baking gluten-free desserts, taking walks with her dog and exploring Boston’s restaurants with her husband, Travis.
