2019 Charitable Service Award: Ryan Wilson, The Wilson Group | Keller Williams

by Boston Agent

Ryan Wilson
Owner and CEO
The Wilson Group | Keller Williams

Ryan Wilson is the owner and CEO of the Wilson Group. Running his own real estate team is the culmination of a dream that began during childhood, when a new housing development went up in his neighborhood. Watching the construction process and the happy new owners finally move in made him realize that he wanted to help others find that same level of joy through the exciting buying or selling process!

In addition to dedicating his career to the Wilson Group, Ryan is President of Alex’s Team Foundation, a local charity that supports the fight against childhood cancer. Ryan has been on the board for the past six years and President the last 3. He is dedicated to raising money to ‘To Give Each Child a Chance to Follow a Dream’ by funding pioneering programs in pediatric oncology, research and care. Alex’s Team supports nurses at Boston Children’s Hospital, fellows at Harvard Medical School, and focused research through Dr. Loren Walensky’s laboratory at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Ryan and his team also proudly support Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Ellie Fund, Daniel’s Table, Cradles To Crayons, Boy’s & Girl’s Club, The Autism Program at Boston Medical Center and Ryan ran the Boston Marathon to raise funds for Brookline Mental Health. Wilson Group does not just sell a lot of homes, they care about the community, and try to make sure they are giving back whenever possible.

Though Ryan is always on the go, he keeps his phone charged and ready to connect with clients whenever they need him. He recharges his own batteries by traveling with his wife and one year old baby girl, spending time with family and friends, and exploring fun, new restaurants.

Finalists: Mary Kelleher (Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty), Regina Winslow (William Raveis)
